Raised in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, from a young age Leo prioritized an independent sense of artistry inspired by the proficency of icons such as Eric Johnston, Jaco Pastorious, and Joni Mitchell. With an energetic undercurrent from the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Neil Young, or Big Wreck.

Leo had the opportunity to travel to Cuba with the direction from the Los Primos project. In May of 2026, over thirty Canadians opened for Augusto Enriquez & the Holguin Symphony. Also marching in the parade for Romerías de Mayo festival, and collaborationg with local musicans. The cross pollination that occured during this time has educated Leo's worldview and given him firsthand experience on how music serves to curate a greater human experiences.

In working with artists and bands such as, Rankin Maccinis, Avery Dakin, Maggie Andrew, Jah'Mila, Esdaile, In The Breaks, Soul Circut, Superpush, Stonebrother, Alfie, Fiona Clancey, Silas Bonnell, and Eliza Rhinelander. While spanning the diverse genres of (s)Alt-Pop, Funk Punk, Metal, Latin, Jazz, Fusion, Americana, R&B, and Rock. Leo perpetually pushes his musicality into new ground through both freelance work and original composition.
