Biography

   Drawing from Canada's folk, hard rock, and jazz icons, entrhawlled with a personal love for experimentation. Leo has been developing a robust style on guitar and bass since 2013, which established the 21-year-old as an undeniable presence in the Atlantic music scene as a guitarist, bassist, and arranger. 

Two-time Juno winner David Myles commented on Leo's 2024 JUNO performance stating; "I saw him play recently and was blown away. Leo plays lead exactly how you'd want it. Super exciting, dynamic, and, most importantly, always incredibly musical. I was seriously impressed. Leo's a weapon and I'm confident he's gonna do a ton of great stuff in the years to come."

A trio arising in Halifax’s diverse music community, the LC3 bring youthful creativity to the sounds of jazz in the city. Rooted in instinct, the trio includes Ben "Donnie" Tucker (guitar) and Dante Kierstead (drums) Graduates of the NSCC Music Arts program, the LC3 uphold a collaborative platform for performance where listeners can enjoy

A trio arising in Halifax’s diverse music community, the LC3 bring youthful creativity to the sounds of jazz in the city. Rooted in instinct, the trio includes Ben "Donnie" Tucker (guitar) and Dante Kierstead (drums) Graduates of the NSCC Music Arts program, the LC3 uphold a collaborative platform for performance where listeners can enjoy evolving sets, originals and spontaneous sit ins from various local musicians and artists of the Halifax music scene. Their sets move fluidly from vocal, post-bop, to funk, all upheld by the cinematic fusion they love. The chaos of instinct is always grounded in the bands personal connection, presence, & recognition of each other's tendencies.

Working as a bassist and arranger with folk-pop singer-songwriter Fiona Clancey who also hails from the heart of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Drawing inspiration from artists like John Prine, Phoebe Bridgers, Lizzy McAlpine, and the Avett Brothers, Fiona’s sound is dreamy with a side of Maritime charm. Fiona recently released her debut  EP "For What It's Worth"
